| COMMITTEE WARNS MEMBER STATES AGAINST MEETING MIGRATION WITH BORDER CHECKS | Migration should not be used as a reason to reintroduce internal border checks in the Schengen area, according to the civil liberties committee (LIBE). Members voted on 25 April in favour of a report stating that internal border controls should be used as a last resort only. The report by Romanian Liberal-Democrat Renate Weber also calls on member states to consult with the Commission and other member states before taking any action. We asked Ms Weber to tell us more about it. | | Published in 26-05-2012 by europarl.europa.eu |
| NEW DEAL TO CUT MOBILE ROAMING PRICES, INCLUDING DATA SERVICES | [The cost of using mobile phones, smartphones and tablets when travelling abroad within the EU will fall sharply from 1 July this year, under an agreement with the Council endorsed by Parliament on Thursday. The new rules will also enable clients to buy roaming services from suppliers other than their home service suppliers and open up the market to new entrants, so as to boost competition and thus reduce prices.

| EU SHOULD NURTURE SMALL AIRPORTS AS DRIVERS OF REGIONAL GROWTH, MEPS SAY | [EU aviation policy must pay special attention to the needs of regional airports, says a resolution adopted by Parliament today. | NIAC DESPERATE TO KEEP MEK ON TERRORIST LIST | In an article published in the Thursday, March 15, 2012 edition of the Huffington Post, entitled "Money vs. Facts: The Mujahedin-e Khalq Is a Terrorist Organization", NIAC´s Research Director, Reza Marashi, does his best to smear the MEK with a broad brush of the "terrorist" label. For those who are new to the subject, he might just get away with his slander as his ties to the State Department as a former Iran Desk officer would seem to put him in the know. However, a careful examination, willrove his unmasking, and show that his loyalty is to Tehran and not to this country | | Published in 23-03-2012 by Rabbi Dr. Daniel M. Zucker |
| STATE DEPARTMENT USES JOSH ROGIN TO JUSTIFY BOGUS BLACKLISTING OF MEK | Last week the United States Department of State stooped to a new low in its attempt to justify its nearly fifteen-year old misguided policy of regarding the pro-secular democracy Iranian resistance organization the Mojahedin e-Khalq (MEK) as a terrorist organization when it used "Foreign Policy"’s Josh Rogin to publish a canard against the MEK. Rogin's piece is full of errors, half-truths, and deliberate distortions. The attached document is a brief retort to Rogin's poorly researched screed. | | Published in 16-03-2012 by Rabbi Dr. Daniel M. Zucker |
| HOLDING THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN ACCOUNTABLE | The bungled Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. should cause the White House and the Department of State to re-engage with reality, and figure out that it´s way past time to readjust Iran´s way of thinking. The mullahs and their Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Qods Force thugs (the Sepah-e Pasdaran Sepah-e Qods) are overdue for what we used to term "an attitude adjustment". Now admittedly, the USA is not currently in the greatest shape in economic terms, but there is way to administer an attitude adjustment that doesn´t cost the US one cent and will certainly cau | | Published in 06-11-2011 by Rabbi Dr. Daniel M. | THE VANISHING LITTLE STAR OF BETHLEHEM: CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK IN THE MIDDLE-EAST | Buried deep within the bodies of such prestigious papers as the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times, if covered at all, are stories of the on-going destruction and persecution of millennia-old Christian communities within the cradle of Christianity: the Middle-East. | | Published in 06-11-2011 by Rabbi Dr. Daniel M. | PALESTINE VS. ISRAEL: PINNING THE "APARTHEID" LABEL ON THE RIGHT DONKEY | In recent years Palestinian propagandists and their international supporters have attempted to brand Israel with the label of apartheid. But if the term "apartheid" still refers to unequal treatment under the law, forced segregation, or outright exclusion on religious, racial, or ethnic grounds, then it's the Palestinian donkey that should be pinned with the "apartheid" label.
